CapNet is proud to announce our involvement in financing some of the latest environmentally conscious breakthroughs in the food industry. Eco-Safe Systems USA, Inc., a leader in Ozone food-safety and water-purity intervention systems, has led the way in providing eco-friendly alternatives for Food Distribution companies and has now partnered with CapNet to offer its customers financing for this green technology. One of CapNet's most recent financing opportunities came this March, when International Marine Products approached Eco-Safe to inquire about adding environmentally friendly equipment to its fish processing plants nationwide.

International Marine Products, which processes an average of eight tons of seafood daily, distributes high-end fish to top Sushi and Seafood restaurants across the country. Gomi Yoshitomo, CEO, (pictured left) wanted to find a cleansing system unlike the traditional chlorine-based process that is harmful to employees and to the environment. Yoshitomo discovered that Eco-Safe's Ozone Disinfection System was 100% toxin-free and sanitized his fish up to 3,100 times better than chlorine. "The number one priority for my organization is quality. We can now offer our customers a product that has a longer shelf life, with half the work because there's no mixing of chemicals or washing chlorine off the fish," Yoshitomo says.

"We were able to find a solution that was better for our customers, our employees and the environment."

Working with CapNet made financing International Marine Products' equipment quick, easy and painless. "I don't have time to go to the bank for my financing and go through all the hassle…I wanted a finance company to handle that for me," says Yoshitomo. Financing his Ozone Disinfection System had made Yoshitomo's investment immediately profitable. Besides its huge environmental benefits, the new equipment cuts food cleansing time in half and has raised company morale among employees who feel safer and better cared for.
