Training You


With a deep understanding that your success is our success, we have built an extensive training program that provides each team member the tools to hit the ground running. Our goal is to give you all the resources you’ll need to be the best at your job. CapNet’s training program traditionally lasts 6 months and consists of the following:

Industry Basics


The training program starts with some classroom work to build a foundation of industry and product knowledge. New hires will be instructed and tested on topics such as the lease basics, credit analysis, structuring and pricing a transaction, documentation and sales strategies, depending on your specific function. Upon completion of the coursework, you’ll be prepared for the next step.

The Mentor Program


During the mentoring program each new team member, or “Junior” will be paired with a more experienced mentor, or “Senior”, to guide them through the basics of what they’ve learned. Each Senior will work closely with their Junior to help them through their tasks from start to finish, so they naturally learn more about a specific department’s process. Once Juniors demonstrate the ability to handle a myriad of situations and challenges, they will graduate to a Senior level themselves and be presented with future mentoring opportunities.
